Smoky Mountains
Smoky Mountains cabin questions, answered
- How far is the drive from Knoxville airport?
- About 45 minutes to Sevierville, an hour to Pigeon Forge. Most guests fly into McGhee Tyson (TYS) and rent a car. You'll want one. The cabins sit up in the hills and there's no transit.
- What time is check-in and check-out?
- Check-in is 4pm. Check-out is 10am. You get your door code by text before you arrive, so there's no key pickup and no meeting anyone.
- Do your cabins have hot tubs?
- Every cabin we manage in the Smokies has a hot tub. Many also have a private pool. You can filter for a pool on the search page and see just those.
- Can I bring my dog?
- Most of our Smokies cabins are pet friendly. Each cabin page says whether it is, and you can filter for pet friendly on the search page. There's a pet fee that varies by cabin. Text us at 414-387-3036 with any questions before you book.
- How close are you to Dollywood?
- Our Pigeon Forge cabins are 10 to 15 minutes from the Dollywood gates. Sevierville cabins run 15 to 25 minutes depending on the cabin.
- How close are you to the national park?
- The Gatlinburg entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is about 20 minutes from our Pigeon Forge cabins. Cades Cove is about an hour.
- Is it cheaper to book direct?
- Yes. Airbnb and Vrbo add guest service fees on top of the nightly rate. We don't. Same cabin, same dates, lower total. Find these dates cheaper on another platform and we'll match it.
- Is there a minimum stay?
- Yes, and it moves with the season. Off-season dates run a 2-night minimum. October leaf season runs 3 nights. Pick your dates and the booking calendar shows the minimum for those exact nights.
- What's your cancellation policy?
- Cancel more than 14 days before check-in and you get a full refund. Cancel 7 to 14 days out and you get half back. Inside 7 days there's no refund. The same policy applies to every cabin we manage in the Smokies.
- When is the best time to visit?
- October is the busiest month and books furthest out. Leaf season runs mid-October into early November. Summer is for families and pool weather. January and February are the quietest and the cheapest, and the cabins are warm.
- What if something goes wrong during my stay?
- Text 414-387-3036. Someone answers, day or night. Our average response time is 3 minutes. We manage these cabins ourselves with local crews, so a problem gets a person, not a ticket number.
